We grow up with the idea that we are this little person
That we have to fight to make it in this world
That life is tough.
That it is a dog eat dog world
That only the strong survive.
That it is an eye for an eye.
That the competition is out to get us.
To knock us down.
That we can't do this.
And that we shouldnt do that.
That it's to risky to stick your neck out.
And impolite to rock the boat.
That the rich get richer while the poor get poorer.
That we need to work for the man.
That we should cling to what we have.
And that failing is bad.
Essentially we grow up with a heavy burden of limiting beliefs.
But you know what...
You can stop and take this heavy burden off your shoulders.
You don't have to continue carrying it.
You can change your beliefs.
You can choose to think differently.
You can choose to feel differently.
You can choose to act differently.
And you can choose to give differently.
Once you know that you have a choice it changes your life.
Once you know how to access the code in your brain, your wiring, it changes your life.
Then you can choose to rewire your perception of the world.
And born out of this new perception, you can act differently, experience differently, live differently.
If you decide to change your beliefs about the world...
You essentially change the world.
You change the universe.
Your mind creates the universe in your head.
By choosing a different perspective, you transform the cosmos.
Everything you see, feel, touch, smell and taste gets a different meaning.
What if I told you that the universe is inside of you.
That you are made of the stuff that stars are made of.
That you have within you the rays and the energy of the sun.
That the space between the atoms in your body is so vast that you are not solid.
That only the idea of yourself being solid makes you appear solid, stiff, vulnerable.
What if i told you that you don't have to fight in this world.
That there is enough for everyone to go around.
What if I told you that you don't have to beat the next guy
but that you can walk, run, play, create, dream, live and win together.
What if I told you that you are powerful. Beautiful. Right now. Even as you stand before the world naked.
What if I told you that your purpose was to be awake.
To dream. To create beautiful things that serve humanity and nature.
What if I told you, that I love you. Not because I see your struggles. But because I see beyond them, through them. To the pure being. The caring being. The self that is already whole and Love.
What if I told you all that?
Would it change the way you see yourself in the world?
If so, let me tell it to you again and again.
Each morning. And each evening before you lay yourself to rest.
Read these words. Reflect their meaning. Make them count in your own life
so that on the day of your death, you can look back on a meaningful journey
and be content while passing through the gate, with wonder, awe, curiosity.
